 FAQ:

Can I mount a Roof Tent and an awning to this?

Yes you can, these racks are a great platform for mounting roof tents, awnings and other accessories to due to the cross bars having channels for slide in nuts that you can use with M6 bolts. We are also currently in testing phase for developing our own mounting hardware for tents and awnings. If you would be interested in testing any of these for me let me know.

How does the roof rack mount to the car?

The rack mounts directly to the factory rails with four adjustable brackets, and with two resting feet on the front on the roof between the sunroof and the door (no drilling required).

Is this rack sunroof compatible?

Yes, the rack works with all sunroof models, with the sunroof still being able to be opened as normal.

Are these compatible with other model Surfs?

These racks do not mount directly to any factory systems on the Gen 1 or Gen 2 Surf, but would mount to a set of factory tracks from a wrecker, or Yakima Universal Tracks. If going down this route, we recommend the tracks being installed by a trained professional.
